Trees in the Summer

This is one of Paul Benson’s favorite pieces of work.  This was painted in the style of Impressionism very similar to how Monet would do his paintings in the field or “En plein air. ”  Paul worked to capture the summer time sun a few hours before sunset with the long shadows underneath the trees. He also took time to study the sun as it reflected off the leaves of the trees. This painting makes you long for the summer days of our youth when we had all the time to play and sip lemonade in the shade. This painting was created with Acrylic paint it is 18 x 24 inches.
